Buffalo Stamps and Stuff- Monday Challenge

Today's Buffalo Stamps and Stuff challenge is to stamp on black. My white ink isn't very good, but here is what I came up with. I used SU's Scarey Skeleton, and some scraps from the basket.

Distressed Inking

Played with distressed inking, the past couple of days. I love the effects! I used Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Concord grape Distressed Ink, and added a little SU Not Quite Navy to the cornors and edges. Stamps are Inkadinkadoo clear stamps, Horses.

I used Scattered Straw, Walnut Stain and a touch of Fired Brick on this card. The main background is SU's Floral. I inked it with VersaMark and spritzed the stamp with water, before stamping on the distress ink background. Also sprinkled a bit of water on to the tag to get the "stained" effect. Really love this stamp set by Inkadinkadoo!

Of course no trip home is complete without Buffalo Wings and Pizza...I miss WNY food! Tony really dug in!

Niagara Falls

We went to Niagara Falls and I rode on the Maid of the Mist! I lived in Western New York for 40 years, and never did it. My 9 year old grandson, talked me into it!

Stamproom-Before and after

Thes are really old pictures of what my stamping area looked like. Even Veronica's hair is a different color!

Rearranged the Iris drawers with all the stamps in them, and the paper sorter. Opened up the room a bit.

Tony playing his DS. All the kids were over last night! Tony lives with us, but the 2 little ones don't!

Ariana is 4 years old. Her nickname is Fena. Grampy calls her Fe fi foe!

Another great stamp from Mom!!! I colored this using Prismacolor pencils. Inside I stamped Merry Christmoose.

KISS Challenge

Fiona challenged us over at inkstainers with a KISS-Keep It Simple with Scraps-Challenge, times 3 cards! I pulled the paper from my scrap basket, and it only took a few minutes to come up with these three cards.

Its back to work Monday! Yuck...

Worked on this little box, almost all day saturday, between grands visiting, laundry and cooking... I think its kind of cute!

Used my new skulls CB embossing folder and a Michael's $1 stamp. Another for my stash!!!

Another stamp my Mom gave me! I colored the images with my Prismacolor pencils. Love how they turned out!

A Challenge

The challenge this week on Inkstainers is to do a Christmas card in non traditional colors. The challenge was mine! The bears and the sentiment are stamps from my Mom. So now I have a Christmas card for my stash!

Another CB embossed card

I love this embossing folder! Another super easy card!

I think spring has arrived in Vermont! Sugaring is in full swing, and I can see bits of what will eventually be a green lawn! I know we'll get a few more snows, but I'm loving the warmer days and watching the snow melt!

Sympathy Card

I hate making sympathy cards. I always wait until I need one, then I go buy it! So this is one for my stash. Used the leaves CB embossing folder and sponged some ink on. Easy peasey!

Swapped image holder

I got the directions for these off the Scor-Pal site, printed them up along time ago....Just now getting to them. Great idea for a RAK, I'm sending them off to some Inkstainer pals!
