Front and Back Card

My Mom gave me some Art Impressions stamps, called Fronts and Backs. These are so cute! I was so wrapped up in doing the fence, cat and little girl, I forgot the inside of the card would be exposed! Better planning next time!

Inkstainers Challenge

The challenge from Sharon this week was to do a round card. And it was a challenge! Its a bit crooked on my little stand.

Still very warm here. I'm loving the not snow weather! The snow will be here for good, soon enough!

SCS swap

I joined a swap with some other biker/stampers on SCS. This is what I came up with. The bike stamp is the closest I have to what my bike looks like. I believe its a Seaside Art Stamp. The sentiment came from my good friend Sandra in Scotland, don't know who the maker is.
Hoping this means my muse is back!

Still no cards....

My muse is gone, or hiding...Still not feeling all that wonderful. The sinus infection is gone, the allergic rash from the drugs to get rid of the infection, is almost gone, so hopefully soon, things will be back to "normal". Whatever normal is....

Took Tony to Savoy, MA to look at the lake on top of the mountain. There are two lakes, or reservoir's in Monroe Bridge. To create electricity, they run water out of the upper lake, down to the bottom, and pump it back up to the top. Next weekend we may investigate, and actually go up to the upper lake!

Knuckles...

Our youngest grandson has been nicknamed Knuckles and it appears to have stuck! Here he is on the new bike. Unlike his big brother Tony, he's not at all liking the motorcycles!

Fall is Here...and about gone!

We've had 4 or 5 hard, killing frosts already and our leaves about gone from the trees. Steve, Jason and Tony took the bikes a couple of weeks ago, for a leaf peeping ride. Thats Jason in the picture!

Been sick!

I have been fighting an awful sinus infection for a month now. Finally went and got antibiotics, took them for 10 days, and now have a nice icky rash. They say you get the reaction after your done. Nice...

Made a couple of not so fancy cards. The top card is stamped with Inkadinkdoo's Winter Birds. The flourish is from Michael's $1 bins. All paper is Stampin' Up. The second card is stamped with Cornish Heritage Farms Large Tree Backgrounder stamp. The sentiment is from Third Coast Art Stamps.

Scraplings

My week to do the challenge on inkstainers. So I'm challenging them to make some scraplings! Click here for directions on how to make your own.http://heroarts.com/learning/technique.cfm?techID=103

I didn't use labels, and mine are an assotment of gift tags and bookmarks. They will look great on gift bags.

So here is Steve with his new Road King!

Inkstainers Challenge

This is this weeks challenge on inkstainers. Its Flea's (Fiona) turn to challenge. She challenged us to use a stamped image that some one sent us. My Aunt Sue sent me this image, and a card sample. I CASE'd the card completely!!!LOL!
Yikes, two posts in one day!!! There might be a third. We have a new addition to our Harley family!!!

Guy Cards

I love to do "guy" cards. Here are a couple from a challenge on inkstainers. They both have the same layout, with different themes. Love to do motorcycle cards!

Wow!

Two days in a row!! This is another inkstainers challenge. Sharon challenged us to use labels. I only had some little tiny ones! Tough to line them up! I bought this stamp at Buffalo Stamps last April when I went to see my Mom. Its from Corondo Island Stamps.

Here in Vermont, the leaves are rapidly changing colors, and we have had 2 hard frosts. I love this time of year, but really dread the winter that follows!

Shame on me!

I forgot to blog...in a really long time! So I'm here now, hoping that I can keep up a bit better! LOL!

I haven't been stamping much lately. Been busy with the not so fun stuff, laundry, cleaning, and all that non-stamping stuff!

Here are a couple of inkstainers challenge cards, that I did get done.
The first is Kathleen's stamp on a napkin challenge. The large zebra is from Embossing Arts Co, and the small zebra is from a sheet I won on eBay from 2nd Nature Arts (thanks Robin for the link!).

The second is Cindy's Zindorf Style challenge. We're all pretty big Zindorf fans on inkstainers! The witch is from Inkadinkadoo, the new Halloween Trails. Love this set!
Hopefully I'll be back in a couple of days!

A New Start!

I've switched out, my layout and got a moose, isn't he lovely! I need to pay better attention to this blog thing! So sticking with the moose theme, here is a moose card,I've made in the past. I used the Emerging Colors technique.
