Buffalo Stamps and Stuff- Monday Challenge

Today's Buffalo Stamps and Stuff challenge is to stamp on black. My white ink isn't very good, but here is what I came up with. I used SU's Scarey Skeleton, and some scraps from the basket.

Distressed Inking

Played with distressed inking, the past couple of days. I love the effects! I used Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Concord grape Distressed Ink, and added a little SU Not Quite Navy to the cornors and edges. Stamps are Inkadinkadoo clear stamps, Horses.

I used Scattered Straw, Walnut Stain and a touch of Fired Brick on this card. The main background is SU's Floral. I inked it with VersaMark and spritzed the stamp with water, before stamping on the distress ink background. Also sprinkled a bit of water on to the tag to get the "stained" effect. Really love this stamp set by Inkadinkadoo!

Thes are really old pictures of what my stamping area looked like. Even Veronica's hair is a different color!

Rearranged the Iris drawers with all the stamps in them, and the paper sorter. Opened up the room a bit.

Another CB embossed card

I love this embossing folder! Another super easy card!

I think spring has arrived in Vermont! Sugaring is in full swing, and I can see bits of what will eventually be a green lawn! I know we'll get a few more snows, but I'm loving the warmer days and watching the snow melt!

Sympathy Card

I hate making sympathy cards. I always wait until I need one, then I go buy it! So this is one for my stash. Used the leaves CB embossing folder and sponged some ink on. Easy peasey!

More Wolves

I was sent this image by Michelle, from Inkstainers. We were supposed to do something with it and then mingle it out. I flaked on the whole thing. But when I found the image this morning, I knew I could "Zindorf" it. Will be sending it up to Nova Scotia, where it should have gone several months ago!

Thanks Sandie!

My friend Sandie, from Inkstainers, sent me this image, stamped on thin wood. Told me to do something with it so she could CASE it. Well that was a long time ago. I sponged ink on the grass and the deer. Then used Prismacolor pencils for the details. Sorry its a lousey picture Sandie...But its on its way to Texas, so you'll be able to see it better!!!

Blue and Yellow Challenge

I posted the challenge on Inkstainers this week. Blue and yellow, and use a punch or a die. I smudged the white stamped image with my inky finger though!

We're back to winter here. I knew the warm wouldn't last, but we got hit hard yesterday! Lots of that nasty wintery mix! And more in the forecast for tonight.

Another snowy Vermont day! We're getting slammed with another 7 inches(or more) of snow! I'm ready for spring!

My other card is another Zindorf case! I expect to see one of these fella's in my front yard! Love the seal's face!

It's been awhile!!!

I made this for a friend, and fellow ambulance co-worker, who was injured last week in a logging accident. My Mom gave me a bunch of these cute House Mouse stamps!
In other news...Our nine year old Grandmonster has come to live with us. Its been a real adjustment for us! But its working out.
Been really sick for months. Turns out it is just another complication of having Rhuematoid Arthritis.
We're in the midst of another snowstorm...I'm so ready for spring!!!!
