CCC #7 is Tinted Vision Fragments. I'm having trouble getting some of Tim's products out here in the boonies, but I got a lot on order! Hoping they come soon! Sooo....I had to improvise on my "fragment". Its the cover on a blood pressure gauge. I've been taking apart anything that might have a gear, or other salvageable part in it.
I used a sun from a reproduction postcard. In the postcard, he was sorta cute. But now I think he looks creepy! This weeks CCC can be found on page 55 of Tim Holtz's Compendium of Curiosities book. Check out Linda's blog for all the details! http://www.studiol3.blogspot.com/

Lori, way to improvise!!! That's awesome-- the cover from a blood pressure gauge?! You are so clever!
And, so talented, too! This just turned out wonderfully. Your Fragment couldn't be cooler! The little sun has a sort of "Alice in Wonderland" feel, which is to say, if it's a little creepy, it's creepy in a really good way! (I just rapped a little, didn't I?)
Well done! You are officially the MacGuyver artist of the CCC!
Lovely tag and the improvised fragment is great I agree with Linda it does look a bit like Alice in Wonderland creepy - great idea though.

You recycled and that is cool! Love the image, great challenge piece!
What a fun tag! BTW , stop by my blog if you like moose. I just saw your moose on the sidebar!
Cool tag! Love the improvised fragment, way to think outside the box! And, this is too funny, because my name is also Lori (spelled the same, no less), I collect moose paraphernalia, and I ride motorcycles, is that weird or what?
Wow, love your fragment, such a cool face. Annette x
I like the way he looks *smiles* and I love your tag!
Well done you for improvising and your tag tuned out just wonderfully. Tracy x
I agree, he does look creepy, or maybe just psycho. But, that is what I like most about the piece---just love it!
What a resourceful gal you are, your tag is fab, and i too tend to rip apart anything that has gears lol
